We hangout with my son to see our 14 month old grandson on the other coast. My son is able to go full screen while we are not. We use chrome in Windows 7 and he probably uses ubuntu. Any suggestions?
@jnapier I'm not able to go full screen either. That feature isn't fully rolled out yet would be my guess as I see many solo Hangout On Airs still with a preview screen.
You could check out Ronnie Bincer on G+. He's a great Hangout resource.
Is it possible to record a Hangout? A group I'm in regularly uses G+ Hangouts for meetings we hold and we'd like to be able to record them (using it as the "Secretary" so everyone can fully participate rather than one person taking minutes). I see we could make a YouTube video... is that the only way?
@toppings17 I would suggest then that you hold you're meeting as a Hangout On Air. That way it is recorded and once it's in YouTube, someone can download it, edit, place annotations etc..
Recording a regular Hangout is possible if you use a screen captrure program like Camtasia for Windows or ScreenFlow for Macs - but complicated.
Hope this helps. Thanks for dropping by.
Great tips here Ray, obviously I need to invest in some equipment before I attempt a hangout again ;).
