@snouraini I’d think I’d call it “authentic” – being real. We all choose to show only enough of ourselves as we are comfortable in any given situation.
As people like us who spend a great deal of time on line, our brand is important. We offer people an portrait of who we are, not an x-ray.

Very philosophical post Ray, love it! My rule for engagement in social media is being myself without sharing too many details about my life to be safe and also not to bore anyone, and I use this method across all channels. I think if you are sincere about your interactions with people on social media channels, you can form great connections without sharing too many personal details. I don’t know what you would call it, but it works for me.

@snouraini Thanks Sherry. The Hangouts on Air will be huge. It’s basically a free webinar platform that can be easily monetized. The other added benefit is that because it’s recorded and uploaded to YouTube, people can see a Hangout even if they couldn’t make it ‘live”. It’s having your own TV channel.

Great post Ray! One thing I love about G+ is the quality of content I find there. I don’t spend too much time there, but when I do, I find something amazing. I think G+ is more my crowd but not necessarily my target market. But I love G+ and I will spend more time on it going forward cause for me, social media is not just about work, it’s about meeting awesome people like you. I also absolutely love the Hangout On Air feature, and when it becomes available to me, I’ll push it to it’s limits. Thanks for keep G+ on top of our minds, you’re the one who pushes me to do more great stuff, so thank you!
