3 Google Plus Productivity Tips
Using Evernote to bookmark content
If you use Evernote (and I recommend it highly – not affiliated), you know that you can email notes. If you’re not sure of what your Evernote email address is go here:
Evernote: Account > Settings > Account summary. Scroll down, under Emailing to Evernote.
Email xxxx.xxxx@m.evernote.com
Log into your Google+ account and go to Circles page. Create a new circle and name it “Evernote-Share” or anything you want.
Click “Add a new person” and paste in the email address you found earlier. You’ll need to give it a name to save it.
Save Note from Google+
To save a new note, enter desired content (text, image, video or link), choose the “share” circle to save it to. make sure to chose the Evernote circle only.
Note: Your shared posts will show up in your Google+ stream, but will be visible only to you. You can delete it from there if you like.
Google+ for brainstorming and collaboration
On Google+ start a new circle and name it whatever group that you’re going to populate it with i.e. your class, co-workers or project team.
Add the individuals to the circle. Then share posts, documents, videos etc with them.
If someone isn’t on Google+, the platform is now open to everyone. All they need is a gmail account.
Using Google+ to manage leads
I have a circle for people I meet at networking events as well as on my regular social media platforms. These are folks that could be future clients or who have expressed an interest in social media. So I share information with them and make the circle my own version of Quora.
It’s a great way to build credibility and nurture leads..
